Compliance

Compliance is a corporate duty - especially for transport, haulage and logistics companies that have been maintaining worldwide business relations for a very long time.
Every company is obliged under the Anti-terror Ordinance of the EU (EC 881/2002 and 2580/2001) to integrate the examination prescribed by law of its business contacts for the recognition and prevention of prohibited business relations in the corporate workflows.
The Anti-terror Ordinance of the EU obliges all companies to implement new, highly extensive measures aimed at recognizing and avoiding prohibited business contacts. The commercial, financial and payment restrictions have a major impact on the business processes. Companies which also have the USA as a sales market or have subsidiaries there, are also instructed not to come into conflict with the US legislator. Diverse US lists must therefore be observed. The Federal Ministry of Finance has also promulgated a decree according to which the auditing service is obliged to collaborate during foreign trade audits in the company and which also stipulates that the ordinances are to be integrated during audit measures. If violations are determined, the responsible party faces stiff penalties through to many years of imprisonment. Above all, the focus here is on a liability of the company management even in the case of omission of corresponding organizational measures.
Compliance - Integration of the control mechanisms in the company
DAKOSY offers convenient and integral auditing measures together with the SAPPER Institute. Accompanied by corresponding work and organization instructions with the designation of clear responsibilities and workflows at the customer, "Compliance Check" allows every customer to extensively safeguard their business processes.
The "Compliance Check" can be integrated in the DAKOSY applications, e.g. ZODIAK. Depending on the default setting by the customer or depending on the relevant user, a "match" regarding all addresses in the master data and document processing (in the example customs application) can be achieved.
The checked addresses can then be "saved" in the Compliance Explorer. As a result, frequently recurring addresses do not have to be checked again externally. However, new addresses are also subject to an external check before they are saved in the Compliance Explorer. If a change occurs in one of the boycott lists, all the address entries are automatically checked in the Compliance Explorer. A measure is automatically triggered after a "match", i.e. the affected address is barred immediately.
