Research projects
In line with its task of improving the logistics processes at the seaport and along the transport chain, DAKOSY AG engaged in research projects right from the start and not only managed to qualify for the framework research ISETEC I and ISETEC II which are supported by the government but also to successfully develop processes with regards to the inland water vessel and railway transport area related to the government-funded “Flexible Transport Chain” and “Railway 2010” packages. DAKOSY’s importance as a progressive logistics competence centre has also enabled the company to win numerous EU-funded research projects. This enabled DAKOSY AG to achieve significant process improvements for the (also cross-border) railway transport in the INTERREG II C research context. The TEN-T and VIKING research projects served to analyse the monitoring of hazardous materials in road transports and evidence the feasibility with the help of a pilot.
DAKOSY is currently involved in some projects of the "Innovative Seehafentechnologien II" (ISETEC II) (Innovative Seaport Technologies), which were published in the German Federal Bulletin with the funding statement of the Federal Ministry of Economy on May 22nd 2007.
