“The onboarding process is well-structured, helping you to familiarize yourself with new assignments and get to know the team and the administrative processes quickly.”

Sela Topselvi (38) started as a Java software developer in the ZODIAK department on March 1, 2022. From the beginning of his first day he felt like he'd landed in the right place. Despite the Corona-related guidelines mandating working from home, his department manager came to the office to welcome him, showed him his work space and handed over the necessary hardware, which Sela was already using to connect from home that same afternoon.

On that day, Sela also received an orientation plan for the six-month trial period. He was given a fixed contact person for the entire period, with whom he could discuss the first small development tasks and work together to implement them. In the first few days he got to know the entire ZODIAK team via video conferences, then met his colleagues from the other departments in subsequent online meetings. Since mid-June, he has been coming to the office two days a week and is pleased that he has now been able to get to know all his colleagues live and in person.

Overall, he’s quite happy with his new position at DAKOSY. He is particularly pleased with the current company policy which allows him to work flexible hours from home, as well as the wide range of further education opportunities. The latter is a particularly important topic for him, as he is currently using his free time to study Media Informatics at the Lübeck University of Applied Sciences.

In addition to his work at DAKOSY and his studies, he enjoys every free minute he can spend with his wife and two young sons, with whom he lives in Bargteheide.
