Shipping Instructions (B/L)

The communication of Shipping Instruction (SI) is one of the oldest DAKOSY services. It is also known under the terms Bill of Lading (B/L) or B/L data exchange. Since the 1990s, forwarders have been able to send Shipping Instruction to brokers or shipowners via the DAKOSY forwarding solutions and the EDI interface. The data path always goes via the DAKOSY computer centres, where a plausibility check is carried out before the broker or ship owner can retrieve the data addressed to him.
