• WKS information

We created a document that provides guidance based on first experiences with the processes adapted for WKS:

• What to do if you receive status 989 and no S-number is created
• How to determine on your own why the RLS status of an S-number is not available

The document is published as Handout WKS in IMP. Furthermore we would like to draw your attention to the following points, on which we receive many questions: 

• Unlike before the S-number status can return from RLS to NRL, e.g. in case of a custodian change.
• B- and S-numbers which have been created before the WKS changeover can be used for loading after 1.7.2026. They will be completed via REXDIS automatically if the terminal is the custodian, after the loading has been reported to IMP.

• WKS declarations (S-numbers) are being completed if EMP / ZAPP confirms the exit of the goods. An laoding report in EMP / ZAPP must be available. 

   

• New: Status messages at control measurements with fully mobile X-ray systems

In addition to the current status messages at control measurements to the summary declaration (977 und 931) and the release (933), we introduce new status codes which show you that the measures shall be carried out via fully mobile  X-ray systemds (VMR) at the terminal. This status messages are sent additionally, the status order in such case will look like this:

1. 931 or 977 (ordering of a measure)
2. 844 (screening at the terminal / VMR)
3. 845 (measurement at terminal completed)
4. 933 (release)

The introduction of new status codes is carried out in stages in consultation with the relevant terminal. Current state of the planning:

• 22.06.2026: CTT
• 29.06.2026: CTB

The transmissions at Eurogate and CTA will be activated as soon as possible. We will inform you on short notice.

After the release change on 30.6.2026 the status will also be sent for the Import Operation Instructions and IMP Status Request.

• Transshipment of union goods with port of discharge in the EU

So far declaration case EUB was only used, if the SumA has been completed after submitting a T2L. After the release change this rule will be extended for goods registrated for free  circulation. Please keep in mind that the changes become effective for processes which are registrated for free circulation after 30.6.2026. If the SumA was completed by a registration to free circulation before the S-number has to be created manually or with the help of a service provider.

• Pre paper type WITHOUT in Import manifest

Basically the pre paper types OESUMA, N355 and ESUMA are authorised in the Import manifest. Currently the customs permits the pre paper type WITHOUT in individual cases and after checking the error situation, especially in case of problems in connection with ICS2. Please get in touch with our support team  (mailto:servicedesk@dakosy.de ) in order to have the respective error check (code 446) suspended temporarily. Only then you can use the pre paper type WITHOUT in the Import manifest and the editing in IMP-Direct. 

• WKS: Determination of SumA-MRN after completion of the delivery process

The declarations in EMP / ZAPP must include the termination shares to the summary declaration from the 1.07.2026 at the latest, if goods shall be declared with declaration case DUX.  

If a delivery process is completed by the customs at the terminal you can make a request via IMP to determine with which ATB or SumA-MRN it has been replaced. 

By entering the container number and the MRN of the delivery process, the IMP-StatusRequest for land-sided deliveries enables the determination of the corresponding MRN or ATB of the goods in custody: 

You will receive a status message displaying the MRN or ATB. Further status changes for the SumA will not be communicated.

• Customer reference of the IMP-StatusRequest will be returned in status messages. Element was already included in interface.

• New: Itemised list of WKS declarations for carriers for reconciliation with the invoice of the DIHLA
• Internal preparations and adaptations concerning the migration of the used customs application  ZODIAK classic to ZODIAK GE
