Swissport Cargo Services Deutschland GmbH will move into the new cargo handling hall (No. 544) in Frankfurt at the beginning of November.
Att the same time they introduce the mandatory slot booking via FAIR@Link (import from Nov. 2, export from Nov. 9).
Without a slot, delivery and collection at the new Swissport location will not be possible. From 30.10.2020 slots can be booked via FAIR@Link for collection from 01.11.20 22:00 hrs. Import shipments checked into FRA before 01.11.2020 will continue to be retrieved at the old location in building 558. Export deliveries as well as export RFS transports can be booked from 06.11.2020 and can be processed in the new building from 09.11.2020 06:00 am. With the FAIR@Link Slot Booking module (RSS = Door Management System), forwarders and truckers can quickly and easily reserve doors with handling agents for their upcoming loading and unloading procedures, thus saving valuable time and achieving more efficient processing. Using the module also benefits handling agents, as they receive all the necessary information together with the slot booking in advance of the goods arrival. They can better plan their resources and avoid peak situations at check-in counters and doors. The necessary checks can be carried out beforehand, so that only a comparison of target vs. actual goods data has to be made when the driver arrives. A big time saver for everyone involved!
Scope of the TPA
TPA helps forwarders and truckers to quickly and easily reserve doors at the airport handling agents for their upcoming loading and unloading processes. This means that the handling agent no longer needs to input data upon the driver’s arrival, but only to match it up. A big time saver!
