  1. Registration
By submitting the completed registration form via the booking too, your registration is binding. There is a limited number of participants for each seminar. In the case of overbooking, you will be contacted immediately. You will receive a registration confirmation from us via email or regular mail.
  2. Fees
The seminar fee includes the costs for attending the seminar, drinks and accompanying documents. The fee is due before the start of the seminar and shall occur according to the payment conditions stated on the invoice. An indexed calculation may be arranged by prior written agreement. Participants are responsible for any additional costs incurred for accommodation and meals.
  3. Participant’s Cancellation / Cancellation of Seminar
The cancellation of a booking must be made in writing. You may withdraw from the seminar free of charge up to one week before the start of the seminar. A later cancellation is possible if you can arrange to fill the vacant space with a substitute participant. Otherwise the full seminar fee is due. Should the seminar be canceled by the organizer due to organizational reasons or as a result of force majeure (e.g., illness of the speaker), the seminar fee will be reimbursed. The organizer will book a replacement date within the next three months. The organizer shall not be liable for any expenses or other charges which the customer may incur as a result of the cancellation. All additional claims of the participant are excluded.
  4. Changes in Program
Changes in the seminar program are possible at any time.
  5. Liability
No liability claims against DAKOSY may be asserted from the application of the acquired knowledge. DAKOSY is exempted from the obligation to provide services if and insofar as non-performance is attributable to the occurrence of force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances beyond DAKOSY's control, e.g., war, strikes, curfew, riot, expropriations, government upheaval or civil unrest, storms, floods and other natural disasters, water damage, power failures, system failures on the internet and interruption or destruction of data-carrying or telecommunication lines or illegal activities of third parties on the Internet. Each participant is solely liable for themselves and their actions inside and outside the seminar and is personally liable for any possible damages.
  6. Copyright Protection
All training contents and seminar documents - including future versions - are protected by copyright and may only be used for the purpose of seminars. Any duplication, transfer to third parties or any other use, particularly within the framework of commercial training courses – including the use of extracts - is prohibited. DAKOSY assumes no responsibility for the completeness of the content of the training materials.
  7. Severability Clause and Jurisdiction
Should individual provisions of these Terms of Participation currently be or later become invalid, or should an essential point not be herein included, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties undertake, in lieu of the invalid provision, to establish a regulation which is closest to the intended meaning and to which the parties would have agreed had they been aware of the invalidity of the referenced provision. The place of execution and jurisdiction for all disputes is Hamburg, Germany.
