Notice: Changes in the embargo process

We would like to draw your attention to a change in the so-called embargo process. If a country of destination is one of the embargoed countries, but the next port of discharge is in the EU, a B-number will be assigned with immediate effect. In these cases, you no longer need to enter the declarations in IMP-Direct.

Background: This change should make it possible to transfer a container to another EU port.

Updated documentation to the embargo process

The description of the embargo process in IMP has been revised.

You can now find the current version under this URL.

From now on, you only select the country for which you want to enter the reasons. The IMP will then transfer the text stored for this purpose to the exit summary declaration (S number).
