New version of the EDIFACT message IFTSTA
As of now you can download version 2.4 of the implementation manual IFTSTA in IMP from our homepage. It contains two changes:
- Transmission of MRN to summary declaration
With the introduction of ATLAS release 10.1 an MRN is being assigned for a summary declaration. An ATB no. is still generated here, which can be used, likewise the MRN, for the follow-up procedures. IMP will transmit both references in the IFTSTA. For the MRN the segment or the qualifier RFF+IB has been added. Both MRN and ATB will be transmitted in the status message

You can decide on your own when you change your systems from ATB to MRN. A date for the omission of the ATB no. has not been set yet. Nevertheless we recommend to carry out the changeover in 2025. If ATLAS does not transmit the ATB no. anymore, the segment RFF-ATB will be omitted.
2. Distinction of ATB status and container stats in case of land-sided deliveries
At the moment summary declarations in IMP ar being consolidated with one collecting position in case of land-side deliveries. This procedure is no longer permitted and would in any case no longer be feasible with the introduction of the re-export system WKS in ATLAS.
The following information is relevant only for terminal providers who also want to receive the status of single summary declarations, additionally to the overall status. In such cases the single status of containers can deviate from the overall status of the container, e.g. if one ATB carries the status 934 and another one status 941. The container status remains 934 in such case.

This segments can be read over for containers delivered from sea-side. Nevertheless keep in mind that both segments are transmitted in status messages to summary declarations.
The new message versions will be put into operation in the first quarter of 2025. The exact date will be published in a later newsletter.
