DAKOSY has been well-known in Austria as the operator of the Port Community System of the Port of Hamburg for many years. Many Austrian companies already use the digital portal to increase the planning and transparency of their logistical processes. Not so well-known is that DAKOSY also offers Customs software for the Austrian market. In order to increase name recognition in Austria, DAKOSY began actively promoting its services with on-site marketing.

In June 2016, DAKOSY operated a booth at the Österreichischer Logistiktag (Austrian Logistics Day) trade fair in Linz. Contacts with local logistics service providers were developed in subsequent workshops and discussions and led to the first contracts. DAKOSY is booked to take part in the Österreichischer Logistiktag for this year as well. In February, the Port of Vienna together with the Port of Hamburg Marketing sponsored an information event in Vienna, where Ulrich Wrage, Managing Director of DAKOSY AG, presented the portfolio for the Austrian logistics market. The participants were especially interested in the Customs software, which supports Customs handling not only in Germany and Austria but can also be used in Switzerland and the Netherlands. The presentation of the CargoCommunity system "FAIR@Link," which DAKOSY operates at Frankfurt Airport, also attracted a lot of attention. This platform is easily transferable to other airports.
