GS Gefahrgut-Service GmbH is a new INFr8 pilot participant

DAKOSY press release (Dec. 2018)

Hamburg, Dec 2018: Based in Cargo City Süd at Frankfurt Airport, GS Gefahrgut-Service GmbH will join the e-DGD as another pilot participant via the INFr8 sender portal.

One of the service provider's primary activities is to support companies in transporting dangerous goods by air. Via INFr8, GS-G Gefahrgut-Service will implement a digital information chain leading from its customers, i.e. forwarders and dangerous goods companies, through to handling agents as well as airlines and thus implement transparent, significantly faster and more efficient dangerous goods processing.

About INFr8: The shipping portal INFr8 is a globally unique platform that is specially tailored to the air cargo supply chain. Via the digital platform, all shipment data, including the legally-required Dangerous Goods Declaration, can be transmitted completely electronically from the sender via the forwarder and/or dangerous goods declarant to the airline/handling agent. INFr8 was developed by DAKOSY with the support of Fraport AG and has been tested in pilot operation at Frankfurt Airport since September 2018. In addition to GS Gefahrgut-Service GmbH, the pilot participants include the airline Lufthansa Cargo, handling agents FCS and LUG, as well as many well-known forwarders and logistics service providers.
