A joint research project of HPA and DAKOSY

SANTANA

The German Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport (BMDV) is funding the establishment of a digital test field in the Port of Hamburg with almost 15 million euros.

The focus of SANTANA (Services and Data Network Port of Hamburg), a project by the HPA and DAKOSY which will span 30 months, is the development of a digital infrastructure that is intended to link privately organized logistics enterprises even more closely with public infrastructure and traffic management. The aim is to create a shared "network of networks." Digital service offerings will be made more easily accessible via a common marketplace for port and hinterland stakeholders who participate in transport processes. By connecting logistics data with information from the infrastructure sector, the port will achieve a quantum leap in digital transparency. This will further expedite processes in the port and hinterland.
