Conditions of participation

Registration

You can make a binding registration by sending the completed registration form on our website https://www.dakosy.de/en. The number of participants is limited. In the event of overbooking, the registrant will be informed immediately. The number of participants is limited. If a minimum of five participants is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the seminar. Once you have registered, you will receive confirmation of your registration by e-mail or post.

Participation fee

The seminar fee includes the costs for the seminar, drinks and accompanying documents. This is due before the start of the seminar and is payable in accordance with the terms of payment stated on the invoice. A separate invoice may be issued by prior written agreement. Any costs incurred for accommodation and other catering are to be borne by the participants themselves.

Cancellation conditions/ seminar cancellation

Cancellation of an application must always be made in writing. You can withdraw from the seminar free of charge up to one week before the start of the seminar. Later cancellation is possible if the free place is filled by a substitute participant provided by you. Otherwise the full seminar fee will be charged. If the seminar is cancelled by the organiser for organisational reasons or due to force majeure (e.g. illness of the speaker), the seminar fee will be refunded. The organiser will endeavour to arrange a follow-up date within the next three months.

The organiser shall not be liable for futile expenses or other disadvantages incurred by the customer as a result of the cancellation. Further claims by the participant are excluded.

Change in the programme

The seminar programme is subject to change.

Liability

No liability claims can be asserted against DAKOSY from the application of the expertise acquired.

DAKOSY is released from the obligation to provide services if and insofar as the non-fulfilment is due to the occurrence of circumstances of force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances for which DAKOSY is not responsible, e.g. War, strikes, lockouts, riots, expropriation, changes in the law or official orders, storms, floods and other natural disasters, water ingress, power failures, system failures on the Internet and interruptions or destruction of data-carrying or telecommunications lines or illegal activities of third parties on the Internet.

Each participant is liable for his/her own actions inside and outside the seminar and is responsible for any damage caused.

Copyright

All training content and seminar documents - including future versions - are protected by copyright and may only be used for seminar purposes. Reproduction, passing on to third parties or any other use, in particular in the context of commercial training courses - even in extracts - is prohibited. DAKOSY accepts no liability for the completeness of the content of the training documents.

Severability clause and place of  jurisdiction

Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, or should an essential point not be regulated, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The parties undertake to replace the invalid provision with a provision that comes as close as possible to the intended result and that the parties can agree on.
